Twin Pregnancy Bleeding
by: Anonymous

Hi Janis,
I bled early in pregnancy (didn?t know I was at the time), so thought it was that time of the month. When I realized a week later that I was pregnant I was worried and asked my midwife about it.
She said that it?s very common to bleed a bit (light bleeding) in the first 3 months due to your body adjusting to being pregnant. And that it usually happens around about the time you are due your period. The other reasons she mentioned is that it could be the egg implanting in the uterus or sometimes bleeding can happen after sex.
I didn?t experience any other bleeding during pregnancy after that and now have two healthy twin girls.

Hope this was somewhat helpful? Wishing you well during your twin pregnancy :)
