Choosing a Double Stroller

Tandem Stroller

This is a front to back stroller with each twin sitting in line with each other. Although the front seat can be reclined they will be in the lap of the child behind them.

So obliviously the width is no problem with this type of stroller and many also come with car seat attachments which is awesome for when they are little.

Joovy Too Qool Double Stroller
Rating: 4 Star Rating

This stroller is one of the newest designs and is strong but light weight and small for a double, almost like pushing a single stroller. Each seat can hold up to 55 pounds which is pretty good for a double. You can also use it as a single stroller as the back (and the front) seats clip in and out.

Tandem Stroller with Car Seats

A tandem stroller that comes with cars seats and you can fit both infant car seats straight onto the twin stroller. The seats in the stroller are set out like a stadium so the twin behind is boosted up and wont feel stuck at the back. The car seats also have a base you secure in your car and makes the transfer from car to stroller really easy.

Side-By-Side Stroller

The side-by-side stroller was always too big especially for doorways and shopping isles, now-a-days a well-made stroller is much narrower and more convenient for everyday shopping and outings.

The best thing about these strollers is both twins can see everything as you wonder around, having plenty of leg room and be interactive with each other. This is the second type of stroller I bought, the first was a tandem one which was OK for when my girls were newborns but not perfect as the front couldn’t really be reclined without it being in the lap of the twin at the back.

Britax B-Adile Double Stroller
Rating: 4.7 Star Rating

This Britax B-Adile Double Stroller has had great reviews especially when it comes to the ease of use from pushing it to folding it up. Even the size has had a great response. It has two separate canopies and it’s like each child is in a separate stroller and surprisingly plenty of storage space.

All Terrain Strollers vs. Jogging Strollers

So what’s the difference? All terrain means basically that, it is comfortable to walk and jog which includes the benefits of large storage for when you are shopping. Where as a jogger is best suited to just jogging and doesn't have as much storage if any at all.

Both stroller types are great for pushing on gravel and grass for example.

All Terrain Strollers

All Terrain will have four wheels most of the time just like a standard walking stroller but the wheels will be air filled and not solid. They also feature storage, like under the carriage and pockets. So this is more of an all-rounder when it comes to twin strollers.

Jogging Twin Stroller

A jogging stroller is made for the soul purpose of jogging or walking. Made for parents to get a work out in while spending time with their children. They always have three wheels similar to that of a bicycle, with the front wheel capable of either swivel or locked in. There is however jogging strollers that have a brake on the handle bar, with this type only – the front wheel will be stationary at all times.

Umbrella Twin

An umbrella stroller is defiantly for you if you want something small and something you can easily take traveling with you either in the car or plane. The only thing with this type of stroller is less storage space, smaller canopies and they are not really suitable for pushing on grass or snow unlike the all terrain and jogging strollers.

Car Seat Stroller

Twin Roo Plus
Rating: 4 Star Rating

The Twin Roo Plus is for sure a favorite among many moms of twins, it’s easy to fold up and down and quick to use. You can face the car seats in the same direction and even the opposite which is awesome for keeping your babies out of the sunny. There is one little complaint, though the storage basket is a great size it can be hard to get to with car seats in the way, especially when the item is large.
